Angels of Love- Thirupathi and Abdul Jaleel

The panic wave the pandemic has created immobilized most of the volunteers, yet few choose to differ. Abdul Jaleel was one among them, being an orthodox Muslim adhering his fasting to the comma he was the first of the Teaching Staffs who sprang into action. Jaleel who is a graduate teacher of Social Science written a new leaf of history in volunteerism.

He visited various villages and served the afflicted, for the first lock down completely incapacitated the economic flow of the marginalized sect of the district. Under the scorching Sun he delivered goods to the needy that too with out taking a little drop of water. This is really suicidal as his body would have been dehydrated and his stomach would have churned as he was fasting for Ramadan.

Beside helping the needy who came under his radar, Jaleel was ready to reach out the afflicted identified by others. He was also a member of the Watsapp group Corona Care Givers, he had to deliver goods to the people who seek help from the group. Apart from assisting people from Mettuppatti, Puthaamboor, Aliyanilai and Udayaneri he also assisted  the needy from Ellaippatti, Sirunjunai villages.

He is still active at the field serving the needy and spreading rays of hope and illumines life.

Thiruppathi aka Poet Solachi

Thiruppathi is a Primary Teacher at a nearby village at Pudukkottai district. He was one of the front line fighters of Jacto-Geo and got arrested for his involvement in the struggle. His songs on the Jacto-Geo were like war cry for the protesting teachers.  Now he is serving the Covid afflicted needy, his service radius is larger than most other volunteers of the district.

He had spent most of his income into the rescue operations, actively serving the poor around the clock.

Volunteers who risk their everything for the welfare of the people is really make this planet a lovely place to live.
